The need for natural distribution overwhelmed me and a grubby public lavatory caught my eye.  A toilet wall's as good a place as any to display ones art.   Somewhere amongst the perverse reportoire, sordid contact details and witty exchanges there's a place for mirth and satire......

The Power Of Prayer

This big ship lugs only one that's me   
it deluded it's anchor barren lost at sea
I was swept unaware of its lease of life
she was cast by a mariner's survival knife
there was no-one to heed my sorry cry for help
with a drip and a gurgle as the anchor fell
but the wind willy nilly tossed us to and thro
such a drastic location as the thunder roared
I was woke to a rapping from the stray detail
a dyslexic reception call was bound to fail
the response sought me un-aware and cussed my fall
with an eye barely open view a vibrant crawl
I reflected religiously in search of light
was I cursed to a rota of eternal night?
overhead congregating swarmed the vultures best
I recoiled back in horror as the scavengers messed
with the deluge relentless I redressed below
horrid rooks started tripping on the cabin floor
with the rain no deterrent and the gusts no threat
they deliriously powered as their eyebrows met
with their heads full of anger and the promise of rum
they ferment to the rhythm of a distant drum
As they ripped out a panel with a tribal yelp
I recited a passage as I plied for help
well thank the Lord for the power of prayer
as above helicopters towered in the air
and the sun came out and the sky turned blue
but the stains remained though I'd broke curfew.

3.56pm

Into the compressed streets I strode pensively, amidst the chaos two devotees blanked my petty passage to eventually settled about a jewellery boutique.  She cooed lovingly like a lovesick maiden,  sporadically seeking his approval and stealing a wily osculation whenever achievable, whilst declaring her infatuation and aspirations with fiery fervor as he paced behind her,  privately deliberating a fresh recreation.  She'd pause only periodically to value the trinkets displayed in that cursed window.  Suddenly his previously prominent posture froze into a semi-hunch and his eyes bore the back of her head in defiance to her stupendous agenda as she singularly caressed the marble window and drooled like an impoverished infant.  She blissfully unaware of his secret repulsion, rambled on incognizant of his physical withdrawal as he slowly backed away into the passive passage to scour the alleyways........

Look at you though
doused with callow enthusiasm
with hallowed comprehension you crest my hand
per chance to dream yes
the scent of yesterday perfumes your previous beauty
rid your shell from my side
another berates your pedestal
to utilize my ostensible magnetism
hear the bells chime for me as if by order
A flush young blonde shall I knock head with
your bias position ostensibly vacated
the lies and deceit now clearly evident
those wrinkled moans of phoney pleasure wasted yes
black pointed fingers immerse your cavern
left to rot like fruit in direct heat
cast overboard to battle hungry waves
abrubtly awoken from your cosy slumber
to find your rags strewn throughout the somber alley
those nosey neighbours with cameras fully focused
to capture your humble astonishment
your welfare's no longer my concern
my absence be evident when love defaults you
seek solace in your solitary memories
my portrait's no doubt still perched majestically above your bed
but reserve those sobs for Sunday
when mummy drops another clanger
she demonstrates another
and my name is mentioned once again.
